FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for assessing the risk of bleeding during and after dental interventions in patients taking oral anticoagulants. Anamnesis is taken to detect the anticoagulant intake before the planned surgical intervention. If taking anticoagulants, haemostasis values are determined: haemoglobin, thrombocyte count, international normalized ratio (INR), activated partial thromboplastin time (PTT), fibrinogen, protein C, platelet aggregation with ADP, antithrombin III, blood coagulation factor VII (BCF 7), blood coagulation factor VIII (BCF 8). Haemostasis indices are evaluated as one point at the following values: haemoglobin ≤95 g/l, thrombocyte count ≤105 mcl, INR ≥1.8, PTT ≥46 s, fibrinogen g/l ≤2.1, protein C ≥144%, platelet aggregation with ADP ≤26%, antithrombin III ≥135%, coagulation factor VII ≤42%, coagulation factor VIII ≤45%. Then, the total score is calculated and the risk of developing bleeding during and after dental interventions is assessed as favourable at value of 1–3 points, as a moderate risk with value of 4–6 points, as a high risk with value of 7–8 points, and as a very high risk with value of 9–10 points.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing the reliability of assessing the risk of developing haemorrhages during and after dental interventions in the patients taking oral anticoagulants due to the declared complex of laboratory values.
