FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be used in treating patients with hallux valgus, with fixation of fragments of the osteotomised first metatarsal bone with cannulated screws on guide pins. Guide for minimally invasive corrective osteotomies of the first metatarsal bone includes a collapsible housing with a pin guide. Housing of rectangular cross-section consists of three branches, two of which — support and handle-lever are parallel, and between them there is a perpendicular branch. Between the perpendicular branch and the handle-lever there is an isthmus, into which an intramedullary centralizer is inserted. Support is hollow and has an L-shaped movable bar, on the end of which a pin guide is put. All parts of the guide are located in one plane. Mating surfaces of housing parts coincide in configuration. Longitudinal axis of the isthmus is located at angle of 25 degrees to the longitudinal axis of the perpendicular branch of the housing. Isthmus has a slot of rectangular cross-section with a hole for the tenon of the intramedullary centralizer. Intramedullary centraliser consists of a round section intramedullary part with a longitudinal pin slot, a rectangular section base and a round section tenon. Housing support is made hollow and contains two through slotted slots located on its opposite faces. Movable bar of rectangular cross-section has perpendicular to each other longitudinal and transverse branches.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables accurate orientation of the guide pin for the cannulated screw in the direction which enables to achieve bicortical fixation of fragments of the first metatarsal bone in the correction position.
