FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, namely to antenna measurement equipment, and can be used to measure parameters of underlying soil when selecting locations of transceiving radio electronic equipment (REE). Objective of the invention is to create a method which enables to determine the complex dielectric permeability of the underlying soil at a given required operating frequency of transceiving REE at their location in the place of determination of the underlying soil characteristics.
EFFECT: determining the value of the complex dielectric permeability of the underlying soil at the required operating frequency of the radio station to determine the location of the transceiving REEs.
