FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to protect radio electronic equipment from ultrashort pulses. Meander microplane delay line consists of two electrically connected sections, second of which is coated with a dielectric layer with a dielectric constant greater than that of the line substrate, and selection of geometrical parameters of cross-section of the first and second sections simultaneously satisfy conditions characterized by the established relationship, which are necessary for the corresponding decomposition of ultrashort pulse (USP).
EFFECT: increased attenuation of ultrashort pulse (USP) is provided due to its decomposition into a sequence of four main pulses and minimization of their amplitudes.
