FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for protecting electronics from ultrashort pulses (USP). Technical result is achieved due to selection of line parameters. Delay line consisting of one support conductor, two signal conductors parallel to it and to each other, connected to each other at one end, dielectric medium with selection of line parameters, the end of the second conductor of the line is in series connected to the beginning of the first conductor of the second delay line, consisting of one support conductor, two parallel signal conductors and each other, connected to each other at one end, dielectric medium, as well as selection of parameters of the first and second lines. Equal mean geometrical values of wave impedances of the even and odd modes of the first and second lines are provided for wave resistance values of the generator and the receiving device, respectively, is also provided by selecting the double-length product of the second line and the linear delay of its odd mode, the double-length product of the second line and the difference modulus of the linear delays of its even and odd modes, values of difference of products of double length of first line by linear delay of its odd mode and product of double length of second line by linear delay of its even mode, as well as by selecting value of product difference of double length of first line and difference of linear delays of its even and odd modes and value of product of double length of second line and linear delay of its odd mode is not less than duration of impact pulse.

EFFECT: increased attenuation of USP due to its decomposition into a sequence of nine pulses of smaller amplitude: first by three pulses in the first turn, and then each of them by three pulses in the second turn.
