METHOD FOR CO-COMBUSTION OF HYDROGEN AND ORGANIC FUELS AND TECHNICAL COMPLEX FOR CO-COMBUSTION OF HYDROGEN AND ORGANIC FUELS (EMBODIMENTS) Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC F23G5/12 F23G5/27 F23G7/06 C01B3/00

Abstract RU 2813624 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a method for the co-combustion of hydrogen and organic fuels, which consists in the fact that the condensation heat exchanger provides condensation of water vapor of flue gases by reducing the temperature of the boiler flue gases below the dew point temperature, for further use of the resulting water vapor condensate, dissolved gases are removed from it, and also it is deionized to reduce electrical conductivity, the purified water vapor condensate enters either the electrolyte preparation tank and is supplied to the electrolysis unit using a pump. In an electrolysis plant, water (H2O) is decomposed into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2), oxygen is released into the atmosphere, and hydrogen is accumulated in a receiver or scrubber to separate carbon from a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and carbon (C) obtained in pyrolysis installation by partial thermal decomposition of methane, a methane-hydrogen mixture with a volumetric hydrogen content of 15-25% enters the receiver, at the outlet of the receiver the pressure and temperature of the hydrogen or methane-hydrogen mixture are reduced to the value required for supplying hydrogen to the combined burner device or into the combined burner devices of the boiler, where it is mixed with organic fuel in a proportion that ensures a minimum concentration of carbon monoxide in the flue gases. The invention also concerns options for a technical complex for the co-combustion of hydrogen and organic fuels.

EFFECT: reduction in the consumption of organic fuels burned in hot water and steam boilers together with hydrogen, as well as in reducing emissions into the atmosphere of water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and carbon monoxide (CO).
