FIELD: veterinary medicine; veterinary pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: method for treating pasteurellosis in cattle involves a single subcutaneous injection of 80 cm³ of serum made from the blood of producing oxen hyperimmunized with inactivated cells of Pasteurella multocida bacteria strains No. 8683, No. 1231, No. 656, No. 796 and T-80. The method also provides for intramuscular injection of an antibiotic, five times at a dose of 2 cm³ per kilogram of animal weight, once a day. The drug Marbofloxacin is used as an antibiotic. An antiseptic is also used in the form of an aqueous solution of silver containing 0.8 mg of silver ions per 100 ml of water. The specified antiseptic is given to animals for ten days in an amount of 19-20 cm³. As vitamins, the combined vitamin preparation “VitOkey” is injected intramuscularly into the thigh area in a dose of 1.5 cm, three times with an interval of fifteen days. The drug “Kalfoset” is used as macro- and microelements®, which is administered intramuscularly at a dose of 25 cm³ per animal. As an immunostimulating drug, animals are given orally the immunostimulating herbal medicine "Kargdehin" at a dose of 0.15 cm³ per 1 kg of animal weight, diluted with 100-200 ml of boiled water, for thirty days.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the effectiveness of treatment by preventing the occurrence of various types of infections and post-vaccination complications.
