FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to medical biotechnology. Acellular matrices are immersed in a vial for sterilization, a sterilizing solution of 0.5% peracetic acid is added in a ratio of 1:4, placed on a shaker and run in the platform mode of 150 movements per minute for 60 minutes at room temperature. After that, the sterilizing solution is drained and deionized water is poured in the same ratio, then the vial for sterilization is placed on a shaker and launched in the platform mode of 250 movements per minute for 12 hours at room temperature; after the time has elapsed, the procedure for washing the acellular matrices with deionized water is repeated under the same conditions. In the absence of peracetic acid residues and its decomposition products in the form of hydrogen peroxide, the acellular matrices are washed with sterile phosphate-buffered saline solution with a pH of 7.2 in a ratio of 1:4 using a shaker in the platform mode of 250 movements per minute for 12 hours at room temperature. If residual amounts of peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide are detected, the washing procedure with deionized water is repeated until they are completely removed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to sterilize an acellular matrix in a relatively short time without disturbing the native molecular structure of collagen.
