FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy and can be used in systems for automatic feed of raw materials in electrolytic production of aluminium. Method involves the use of an automatic alumina supply system with the possibility of its dosed distribution of the required amount for a single electrolytic cell taking into account its state at the current moment with continuous measurement of current distribution over the anodes. Said distribution of alumina is determined by appropriate calculation formulas, based on which adjustment of dosed weight of alumina is performed.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of aluminium production.
