FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring the voltage on the anode bus of the electrolyser and determining the currents for the anodes by solving the inverse problem for the voltage distribution equation for the anode bus. The calculated current values for the anodes are filtered, the absolute increment of the filtered current is calculated for each anode at the end of the alumina underfeeding mode, compared with the given interval of current increment values for the disfunctions in the AAF system, the nearest AAF point to the anode is determined with the highest value according to the specified criterion, the alumina dose is uniformly redistributed from this point of supply to the rest and disfunctions of the AAF system are reported.
EFFECT: it is possible to quickly and accurately detect disfunctions of the AAF system.
