FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to lamps used for irradiation of plants. Greenhouse irradiator comprises a housing, inside which there is a control gear, holder mounted on the housing, a mirror gas-discharge lamp installed in the holder so that the mirror coating of the lamp is in the upper hemisphere of the lamp, and a visor fixed on the housing and covering the mirror gas-discharge lamp from above from external influences. At the same time between the visor and the lamp there is a heat-conducting element having thermal contact both with the visor and with a part of the external surface of the bulb in the place of the mirror coating.
EFFECT: increased service life and stability of parameters of mirror gas-discharge lamp installed in greenhouse irradiator operating in horizontal burning position.
