FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrotechnical industry, in particular, it improves design of high-pressure gas-discharge mirror lamps for general and special lighting purposes. In a gas-discharge mirror lamp comprising a burner mounted in the current leads a bulb, burner axis is located on bulb symmetry longitudinal plane and shifted from its axis to mirror coating applied to bulb inner surface part so that plane passing through its longitudinal edges is parallel to burner lengthwise axis. Bulb is made with cylindrical diameter D lying within 9.2÷10.2 of burner diameter, and in the mirror surface area of the bulb there is a recess of the V-shaped transverse profile with bulged outward edges 9, 10 emanating from rib 8, located on the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the lamp at a depth, which is equal to H in range of 0.04÷0.07 of bulb diameter D, wherein recess edges are located on tangential planes K, K1 to burner and passing through bulb axis, and convex outer faces are made with radii R, R1 lying within 0.30÷0.34 of diameter of bulb D. Application of invention in production of gas-discharge mirror sodium lamps will allow to increase light output of lamps due to prevention of falling part of radiation back to burner and to increase service life. When using these lamps in greenhouse illumination, it is possible to increase illumination from mirror lamps by average of 8 % and to increase plant productivity by more than 8 %.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in light output and service life of gas-discharge reflector lamps.
