FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies performing the function of eliminating vibrations when drilling low-stiffness steel pipe partitions for various purposes. Method of making holes in low-stiffness large-size pipe partitions includes their fixation in a mounting device made in the form of an angle piece, installed and fixed on processing center plaza plate. Pipe web is fixed by pressing to working surface of angle piece, holes are pre-drilled to depth of 10–15 mm and diameter equal to 1.1–1.15 of nominal diameter of working holes in tube partition. On the working surface of the angle piece, a grid of threaded holes is made, the tube partition is pressed by means of a bolted connection using washers from damping vibration damping materials, distance between axes of adjacent threaded holes ranges from 450 to 650 mm. Holes are processed by sectors, where the first and last sectors on the tube partition are limited by the clamps of the tube partition to the angle piece on one side and the transverse beam with clamping elements, on the other, and all internal sectors are limited by bolted connections with special washers from damping vibration damping materials and rigid transverse beam with clamping elements. Drilling is performed at certain modes.
EFFECT: obtaining holes in low-stiffness large-sized items, increasing productivity, reducing time of preparatory operations, improving hole drilling quality.
