DEVICE FOR TIGHTENING OF DEEP-HOLE DRILL Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: machine-tool manufacture, devices for tightening of deep-hole drills made with outside discharge of lubricant-coolant, with reference to machines of bridge type intended for drilling deep holes in tube sheets and similar large-size parts used in power engineering industry. SUBSTANCE: device consists of washers 19 made of rubber or polyurethane located between stop 20 made on bushing 21 connected with body 15 of mechanism for collecting of lubricant- coolant by means of bearing 22. Tightening device is located between stop 20 and end of stay bush 18 connected with body by means of fastening member for pressing to tightening device and its compression. Fastening member is made in form of screws 23 connected with bushing 21 by threaded joint. Screws are located in it on the side opposite to location of stops 20 and installed uniformly over the perimeter at angle to bushing axis to provide for contacting surface 24 of stay bush 18 for regulated pressing it to washers 19 and their compression over longitudinal axis to take up clearance required for installation of drill 13. Tightening may be effected with several rubber or polyurethane washers 19. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 5 dwg
