FIELD: furniture; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing moisture-resistant furniture or construction parts. Method of manufacturing a moisture-resistant furniture or construction part in the form of a plate consisting of a bearing base and covering moisture-resistant layers connected to the base with the ends embedding with a moisture-resistant material, comprises the following steps: in the base workpiece, over the thickness of the greater final thickness of the obtained plate, using machining, blind slots are made along part outline, extracting a base plate, leaving a layer of base material. Slots are made with displacement beyond the boundaries of the part required for production. Produced slots are filled with hardening moisture resistant polymer material. After polymerization, layer of base material and hardened polymer is removed from both sides by means of mechanical processing to even surface of polymer material on both sides of plate and thickness of required finished plate, minus thickness of cover layers. After alignment on both sides of the base moisture-resistant cover layers are glued or applied. Finished part or parts are cut from workpiece, leaving sections of hardened polymer inside part between lower and upper cover layers.
EFFECT: creation of moisture-proof plate parts with the possibility of end face shaping other than rectilinear.
