FIELD: medicine; occupational hygiene.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine human resistance to hyperthermia. Thermal test is carried out, the duration of the maximum tolerable thermal effect is determined. Then limiting value of rectal temperature during heat test, index of heat stress, level of actual reactive anxiety according to Spielberger–Hanin test, indicator of psychological comfort according to self-assessment questionnaire of ACC test state, level of somatic complaints, index of orthostatic instability, PWC170, simple visual-motor reaction latency, respiratory rate. Obtained values are evaluated in points, after which the obtained points are summed up and with total of 2 points or less, a low level of resistance to hyperthermia is determined, if 3–4 points average resistance to hyperthermia is determined, if 5–6 points higher resistance to hyperthermia is determined, if 7 and more points high resistance to hyperthermia is determined.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine tolerance of healthy people of working age of thermal test, carried out for solving tasks of medical selection of individuals for work in hyperthermia by assessing a set of the most significant indicators.
