FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of fixing the electrode system when recording a focusing rheoparodontogram of the FRPG to assess the intraosseous hemodynamics of periodontal tissues limited to the area of the interdental space not more than 4 mm in diameter. When performing the method, two-ball electrodes are used. Electrodes combine an electric field-creating and a measuring part. The end spherical part of the electrode is in contact with the mucous membrane of the interdental space to receive an electrical signal from the pulsating blood flow through the vascular system of the bone tissue when measuring its electrical resistance to assess the state of blood flow in the periodontium. The spherical part of the electrode adjacent to the measuring part of the electrode is made entirely of silicone mass to hold the electrode in contact with the mucous membrane of the interdental space without displacement. Double-ball electrodes are placed in the interdental spaces at the level of the tooth root opposite to each other on the vestibular and oral sides of the upper or lower jaw to create an electric field in the area of periodontal bone structures. Using this field, intraosseous hemodynamics of the interdental space is recorded in such a way that the pulp vessels of adjacent teeth do not enter the study area. The electrodes are tightly fixed in the silicone mass to prevent the appearance of artifacts when recording FRPG in such a way that there is no displacement of the electrode system in the silicone positioner and the electrodes do not change their position on the mucous membrane of the interradicular gum. Using the spherical shape of the end section of the electrodes, tight contact is created between the electrodes and the mucous membrane.
EFFECT: fixation of the electrode system is ensured due to the shape of the two-spherical electrodes, which allows, due to the elasticity of the silicone mass penetrating into the space between the spheres, to securely fix them at the required depth and obtain accurate and stable indicators of rheoparodontography in the area of study.
