FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, it is intended for use in assessing regional blood flow in periodontal tissues. Studies are carried out with the help of individual cap and with measuring electrodes fixed in a flexible cable and connected by soldering and by the current wires of the tetrapolar system located behind them, for which alginate impression is taken from the examined jaw site of the patient to make individual kapa. Gypsum model is made on this impression, on which a 2 mm thick basic wax plate is isolated from the teeth and the alveolus in the area of the study. Then the model is crimped in a vacuum press first with a soft polymer plate 2 mm thick and then a rigid transparent polymer plate of similar thickness. Surplus material is cut with a scalpel. Further, in the projection of the interdental bone septum of the area under investigation from two opposite sides of the patient's jaw in individual cap, a ball-shaped carbide cutter in the rigid part of the hood makes holes with a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the measuring electrode, and in the soft part of the kapa – 0.5 mm less than the diameter of the measuring electrode for its mechanical fixation. Flexible cable is connected to the apparatus for carrying out reoparodontography, the recording of rheograms is performed in a warm room 1.5–2 hours after a meal or on empty stomach, in a dental chair after a 15–20-minute rest.
EFFECT: method allows to increase quality and efficiency of functional diagnostics with possibility of monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment of periodontitis.
