FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to devices for monitoring the hemodynamics of periodontal tissues. The device is made of monolithic dental polymer by additive 3D printing. The device is a mouth guard for the upper or lower jaw, covering the teeth and the marginal gum to the level of the transitional fold in the projection of the medial inter-root partitions of teeth 16, 21, 25 for the upper jaw and teeth 36, 41, 45 for the lower jaw. On the vestibular side, there is a gap of 1.5 mm between the gum and the mouth guard. On the outer surface of the device, in similar areas, there are conical holes with an internal diameter corresponding to the diameter of the sensor of the Doppler sonography device. The outer diameter of the conical hole is three times greater than the inner diameter of the conical hole. The device has a handle in the front section for positioning it on the dentition. The device is made with the possibility of 3-point fixation with teeth 17, 23 and 26 of the upper jaw and teeth 36, 43 and 47 of the lower jaw overlapping their surface to the equator, and it contacts the other teeth.
EFFECT: possibility of dynamic representative assessment of regional blood flow in periodontal tissues using ultrasound Doppler sonography is achieved.
