FIELD: medical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology. The device for monitoring the hemodynamics of periodontal tissues is made monolithic from a dental polymer by the additive method for volumetric printing and is a mouth guard for the upper or lower jaw with a handle in the anterior section for its positioning on the dentition. The mouth guard is made with the possibility of overlapping the teeth and marginal gum to the level of the transitional fold. In the projection of the medial inter-root partitions of the examined teeth there is a through space in the form of a rectangle. On the outer surface of this space in the thickness of the device there are longitudinal back-cone grooves with the possibility of moving cylindrical bushings with a through back-cone hole having an inner diameter corresponding to the diameter of the sensor of the Doppler device, and an outer diameter that is three times larger than the inner diameter of the cone hole. Cylindrical bushings are made with the possibility of moving along the grooves by means of retention elements having a shape that is reflected back to the grooves in the mouth guard. The device is made with the possibility of fixation on teeth in the area of which no research is planned, with the overlap of their clinical equators by 1 mm.
EFFECT: ultrasound Doppler sonography of the vessels of the periodontal complex and the transitional fold is provided using an individual navigation device making it possible to obtain representative data at all stages of the treatment with the possibility of moving the sensor along the alveolar bone in the interdental space.
