FIELD: navigation technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for navigation of transport and technological machines (TTM) in absence of a radio navigation field, inside shielded construction and engineering structures, in horizontal and inclined workings of soil and rocks. A method of TTM navigation along a single-wire radio transmission line, in which a high-frequency generator, a radio transmitting unit with magnetic antennas, a radio receiving unit with magnetic antennas, and an information and control system are placed on board the TTM. Under the bearing or supporting surface of the TTM propulsion system there is a single-wire radio transmission line coordinated with the environment through an active load. In this case, the high-frequency generator transmits high-frequency current to the radio transmitting unit, which excites a single-wire radio transmission line, which emits a high-frequency radio signal arriving at the radio receiving unit for further conversion by the information and control system into electrical TTM control signals.
EFFECT: improved autonomy of TTM navigation.
