SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating device and an aerosol generating system. An aerosol generating device is proposed, containing: a battery, a battery support made with the possibility of connection to the battery and its support, and an elastic element located between the battery support and the battery. The device additionally contains a temperature sensor at least partially located inside the elastic element, made with the possibility of measurement of a battery temperature. At least one of following elements, namely the temperature sensor or the elastic element, contacts the battery, in which a contact area of the elastic element with the battery is from 15 mm² to 25 mm². An aerosol generating system is also proposed, containing: the mentioned aerosol generating device and a smoking element containing aerosol generating material.

EFFECT: inventions provide an aerosol generating device, which has a possibility of control of a battery temperature.
