SUBSTANCE: furniture for sitting or lying down with a transformable design. Transformable furniture for sitting or lying down contains a frame and sections hingedly connected to each other located transversely on the frame forming a surface for placing a person on it. The frame contains a support base and a frame movably mounted on it, which serves as a support for hinged sections made in the form of rectangular frames with flooring on them to support the back, pelvis and legs of a person. The movable frame is made with the possibility of reciprocating movement along the support base. In the lower part, on the sides of the movable frame, rollers are mounted, resting on the longitudinal guides of the support base. Movement of the movable frame along the longitudinal guides is carried out when lifting/releasing the back section, connected by a lever to the support base at the head of the head and pivotally connected to the lumbar-gluteal section mounted motionless on the movable frame. Changing the angles of inclination of the sections relative to each other and the movable frame is carried out by linear drives mounted pivotally between the frame to the back and femoral sections. Electric linear actuators are controlled using a control unit. According to the second option, the transformable furniture contains a pair of lumbar-gluteal sections. The hinge connection is made between the back and one of the lumbar-gluteal sections, movably mounted on the supporting frame using support rollers with the possibility of reciprocating movement. The decking of the sections is made in the form of comb sheets, mounted towards each other so that the ridges of one sheet are located between the ridges of the other sheet.
