SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a battery box, battery cell (20), battery (10), as well as to a method and a device for manufacturing battery box (21). Technical result is provided by the fact that battery box (21) comprises pressure release section (213), wherein pressure release section (213) comprises first recess (2131) located on inner surface of battery box (21), and second recess (2132) located on outer surface of battery box (21), first recess (2131) and second recess (2132) are located opposite each other, on the lower wall of first recess (2131) and/or the lower wall of second recess (2132), as well as third recess (2133), wherein the pressure release section (213) is adapted to collapse on third recess (2133) when the internal pressure of battery box (21) reaches a threshold value in order to release the internal pressure, wherein third recess (2133) has smaller thickness. Pressure release section can be made in the process of counter forming, at the same time the dimensions and shape of the recesses can be adjusted in accordance with practical application.

EFFECT: higher safety of operation of lithium-ion battery.
