SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to technology of batteries and, in particular, to a battery housing, a battery, a power-consuming device, as well as a method and a device for manufacturing a battery. Battery housing contains: an electrical chamber configured to accommodate a plurality of battery cells, wherein a first wall of the battery cell is provided with a pressure release mechanism; a collection chamber configured to collect emissions from the battery cell when the pressure release mechanism is actuated; an insulating component configured to isolate the electrical chamber from the collecting chamber, wherein the insulating component is provided with a pressure release section corresponding to the pressure release mechanism, wherein the pressure release portion is configured to release emissions from the electrical chamber when the pressure release mechanism is actuated; and a first insulating layer configured to seal the pressure release portion to isolate the pressure release mechanism from the collection chamber, wherein the first insulating layer is made so that it is damaged when the pressure release mechanism is actuated so that emissions are released from the electric chamber through the pressure release section.
