The battery (10) contains: a battery cell (20) containing a pressure relief mechanism (213), where at least a portion of the pressure relief mechanism (213) projects outward from the first wall (21a) of the battery cell (20), and a pressure relief mechanism (213) is configured to be actuated to reduce internal pressure when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell (20) reaches a threshold value; and a temperature control component (13) for containing a fluid for adjusting the temperature of the battery cell (20); wherein the first surface of the temperature control component (13) is attached to the first wall (21a) of the battery cell (20), the first surface of the temperature control component (13) is provided with a bypass chamber (134a), and the bypass chamber (134a) is configured to receive at least part of pressure relief mechanism (213).
