FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to nickel self-fluxing alloy, which can be used in glass production. Nickel self-fluxing alloy used in a structural element for glass production for transportation or glass forming with a viscosity of logη from 3 to 14.6, contains, wt.%: boron (B) from 0 to 1.5, solid particles in the form of at least at least one of: carbide, nitride, oxide and cermet - up to 50, silicon (Si) up to 10. A structural element for glass production is also claimed, having a contact part designed for contact with glass mass in the glass-forming process. In this case, the contact part can be made of the mentioned nickel self-fluxing alloy. Or, a nickel self-fluxing alloy can be thermosprayed on the contact part. Also, a mold for molding a glass bottle can be made using the mentioned variants of a structural element for glass production.
EFFECT: alloy reduces friction between the glass making element and the glass melt, thereby reducing the need for lubrication and minimizing defects in finished products.
