FIELD: safe ignition means.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to laser initiation means using photosensitive igniter compositions. The optical pyrotechnic initiator contains a housing, inside of which two charges of photosensitive ignition compositions are placed in parallel in the combustion chamber, consisting of two separately placed samples: a primary initiating sample and a secondary output sample. Two charges are connected to two optical systems, which are gradient optical lenses, to which connectors are tightly adjacent, fixed by damping systems in form of elastic supports. The connector of each optical system is connected to its own laser delivery line. A translucent mirror is applied to the output ends of each gradient lens, designed to reflect a low-power signal and return it back to the laser radiation delivery line. The primary sample has high sensitivity to laser radiation and initiates the secondary output sample.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency, safety and reliability of operation of the laser initiation device, by reducing the influence of electromagnetic and static effects on the cable system of the device, increasing the likelihood of its trouble-free operation, checking the integrity of the laser radiation delivery line and the optical system before the device is activated, and increasing the sensitivity of the ignition compositions for laser radiation.
