SUBSTANCE: tobacco filler unit is obtained by folding the elongated tobacco filler 20 into a bundle, the outer peripheral portion of which is wrapped in sheet-shaped package 25, in which each tobacco filler 20 is moulded so that the size in the direction of the long side is greater than the size in the direction of the short side in the cross section orthogonal to the direction of the length, and the direction of the long side of tobacco filler 20 of the extreme peripheral portion in contact with package 25 is oriented in a direction approximately along the circumferential direction, or the direction of the long side of the tobacco filler is oriented in a direction different from the direction approximately along the circumferential direction, and number of tobacco filler 20, in which directions of long sides are oriented in direction, approximately, along circumferential direction, exceeds number of tobacco filler 20, in which directions of long sides are oriented in direction, approximately, along circumferential direction.
EFFECT: disclosed are a tobacco filler unit and an electronic cigarette cartridge, which increase the fluidity of the air flow inside the tobacco filler unit, while providing a filling factor of not less than a certain value for the tobacco filler unit as a whole and prevent easy loss of tobacco filler.
