SUBSTANCE: supporting element (120) for the electronic cigarette cartridge (100) using tobacco or non-tobacco plants includes central portion (121) disposed along the electronic cigarette cartridge central longitudinal axis, and several side parts (122) extending outwardly from said central part (121) and touching the packaging material disposed about the electronic cigarette cartridge (100); wherein supporting element (120) is adjacent to aerosol-forming substrate (110) located at the end of electronic cigarette cartridge (100), or to another element located between support element (120) and aerosol-forming substrate (110), and supports said aerosol-forming substrate (110).

EFFECT: disclosed is a supporting member which enables to reliably support an aerosol-forming substrate when a heating element penetrates thereto, while providing a flow channel for moving the aerosol inside the electronic cigarette cartridge.
