SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric rolling stock current collectors. Rolling stock current collector skid comprises a frame made of electroconductive material, on which a current collector is installed and two plates adjoining it along the edges, and heat pipes. Heat pipes are located between the frame and the current-collecting element with plates to remove heat from the centre of the skid to its edges. Heat pipes are sealed pipes filled with working fluid.
EFFECT: increasing load capacity of current collector of electric rolling stock.
