FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrically driven transport facilities and aims at decreasing wear of contact pair, contact element and current collector. Proposed method comprises driving current collector toward contact wire to excite crosswire or lengthwise oscillations of skid with contact elements or current collector carriage with audio oscillation frequency making ±25% of resonance frequency of natural crosswise or lengthwise oscillations of the skid or carriage.
EFFECT: decreased mechanical wear.
