SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical measurements, including means of monitoring damage in cables, communication lines and energy transmission. An autonomous device for automatic detection of broken conductors of an extended power cable comprises: a measuring unit, the inputs of which are connected to the conductors L1, L2, L3, PE of the outgoing end of the cable, respectively; first, second and third cable break sensors, made in form of resistors with known resistance value, first leads of which are connected to conductors L1, L2, L3, and second leads are connected to conductor PE of incoming end of cable; operational signaling unit, located in dispatcher station and equipped with means of remote wireless reception of control results from measuring unit, wherein the measuring unit comprises: a power supply, a threshold element, a first controlled switch, an analogue multiplexer, a data processing unit, a current limiter, a measurement unit, a first controlled switch, second controlled switch, control unit, second controlled key, radio modem.

EFFECT: expanded performances of extended power cable broken conductors automatic detection device.
