FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production or repair of monoblocks of turbomachines from aluminium alloys using linear friction welding. Prior to friction welding, contact surfaces of parts are prepared. Vacuum is created in the vacuum chamber, then argon is fed into it, plasma of induction high-frequency discharge is ignited and contact surfaces of parts are cleaned with removal of oxides from them. In the same vacuum chamber, the protective process coating is then applied on the contact surfaces of the parts. After cooling, the parts are removed from the chamber and linear friction welding is performed. Parts are heated, pressed to each other along contact surfaces with a force providing pressure at a given amplitude and frequency of relative movement of parts, further, forging is carried out after termination of movements with application of forging pressure.

EFFECT: method ensures high operational reliability of parts made of aluminium alloys produced by linear friction welding due to increasing their endurance limit.
