FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing a stamp in the vacuum chamber of the installation, creating the required vacuum, ionizing the surface of the stamp engraving, and then applying a predetermined number of layers of titanium compounds to the metals and nitrogen. After ionizing, a sub-layer of titanium or an alloy based on titanium with a thickness of 0.3 to 0.7 mcm is applied. Then, heterogeneous layers of titanium compounds with metals and nitrogen with a thickness of 1.0 mcm to 1.8 mcm each are applied. The layer formation of the titanium compounds is alternated with metals and nitrogen at a pressure in the vacuum chamber of the installation of 2⋅10-2 Pa up to 5⋅10-2 Pa with the layer formation of the titanium compounds with metals and nitrogen at a pressure in the vacuum chamber of the installation of 1⋅10-1 Pa to 3⋅10-1 Pa. For the formation of the titanium compounds with metals, the titanium compounds with the following metals are used: Al, Mo, Zr, V, Si, C or a combination thereof.
EFFECT: reducing costs, increasing the reliability of the coating.
