SUBSTANCE: cold preservation material particle contains at least one first element selected from the group consisting of a rare earth element, silver (Ag) and copper (Cu), and a second element different from the first element and forming a multivalent metal ion in an aqueous solution and oxygen. First phase comprises a first element; and the second phase comprises a second element and is different from the first phase. Atomic concentration of the second element ranges from 0.001 at.% or more to 60 at.%, or less. Maximum value of volumetric specific heat capacity at temperature of 20K and less is 0.3 J/cm3·K and more.
EFFECT: high mechanical strength of the particle of the material to preserve cold.
