FIELD: valve manufacture.

SUBSTANCE: manufacture of a valve (1) for regulating a fluid medium. The valve contains a body (2) with a central part (3) and connecting ends (4). Inside the central part (3) relative to one or more valve seats (7) there is a ball-shaped gate (5). When manufacturing the valve body (2), the first and second parts (2a, 2b) of the body are rotated, with the ends of the central parts (3a) facing each other. Place the ball (5) in a stationary position in the internal space (3b) of the central part (3). The first and second parts (2a, 2b) of the body are welded while rotating the first and second parts (2a, 2b) of the body and holding the ball (5) in a stationary position inside the central part (3). During the welding stage, shielding gas is supplied to the inner space (3b) of the central part (3). The result is a valve body with one weld located in the central part (3) of the valve body (2). Also a faucet and a welding tool for holding the faucet parts during welding are performed.

EFFECT: inventions provide high speed and the ability to automate welding work, obtaining strong and uniform welds.
