FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to the field of experimentally reproducing human diseases in old age, and can be used for simulating chronic heart failure in laboratory rats aged 24 months. That is ensured by subcutaneous introduction of isoproterenol 10 mg/kg 4 times for 11 days according to the following schedule: 1st injection on 1st day of experiment, 2nd injection on 4th day of experiment, 3rd injection on 8th day of experiment, 4th injection on 11th day of experiment. Morphological examination of heart, kidneys, lungs and brain in order to confirm development of chronic heart failure is performed 60 days after the last injection.

EFFECT: invention provides development of persistent morphofunctional changes in myocardial, brain, lung and kidney tissues.
