FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and is intended for measuring temperature of objects in difficult operating conditions, and can be used in control systems of aircraft, ships, motor transport. Transducer comprises a substrate, sensitive element consisting of two single-mode light guides, twisted to each other and stretched, fixed by their ends on the substrate, optical radiation source connected to the input of the first single-mode light guide and the reading unit. Single-mode light guides are stretched to the onset of the effect providing for the flow of part of the optical radiation power from the first single-mode light guide to the second light guide. Substrate is made from a material which has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than the materials of the light guides. Reading unit has two photodetectors connected to the outputs of the light guides, respectively. Inputs of the processing circuit are connected to outputs of the photodetectors.

EFFECT: converter has a simple design, enables remote reading, which increases noise immunity and accuracy of measurements.
