FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry. Method of producing hydrogen involves conversion of gaseous hydrocarbon material, steam conversion of water gas and further extraction of hydrogen from hydrogen-containing gas to obtain gaseous hydrogen of high purity. Blow-off gas is used as fuel gas for conversion of gaseous hydrocarbon material. Hydrogen-containing gas with content of 75–90 vol.% of H2 is used as gaseous hydrocarbon material. Conversion of hydrogen-containing gas is carried out at temperature of 800–1400 °C with water vapor, with oxygen and carbon dioxide in a high-temperature conversion reactor, performing steam conversion, partial oxidation, and carbon dioxide conversion. Excess heat energy of the streams after conversion of hydrogen-containing gas in the form of water vapor is used to obtain electric energy in the steam turbine of the power plant. Obtained electric energy is used for own needs and supply to consumers. Steam spent in steam turbine of power plant is directed into condenser and mixed with feed water in mixer. After extraction of hydrogen of high purity, carbon dioxide is extracted, which is supplied to the plant for production of carbon dioxide of commercial quality or to the mixer of synthesis gas, oxygen, and carbon dioxide as an oxidant.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to organize combined production of hydrogen, carbon dioxide and electric energy, to reduce carbon footprint of manufactured products, to increase energy efficiency of the process.
