SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method of assessing the effectiveness of preparations of foliar top dressing when cultivating specific crops on a specific field consists in sampling soil, bringing seeds into contact with soil and moisture, holding seeds in contact with soil and moisture, determining and comparing seed germination parameters, wherein soil samples are taken from a specific field in spring at the time of soil maturation from different points of the field from depth of 5–15 centimetres from 50–200 points depending on the value of the field area, mixing them with each other and thoroughly mixing to ensure homogeneity, further, the soil is distributed into the vegetation containers, the soil moisture is brought to 25–30% and the fertilizers provided for by the norms are introduced into the soil, seeds before sowing are treated with disinfecting preparations in accordance with versions of test sowing, seeds are sown with provision of contact of test samples of seeds with soil and soil moisture is brought to 60%, vegetation containers with sown seeds are placed in a thermostat and temperature of 20–25 °C, after the beginning of sprouts, the vegetation containers are exposed to light, 6–7 days after sowing, the germination capacity is assessed in natural terms and, if necessary, calculated in percentage, upon reaching the average length of the green part of sprouts of 5–6 centimetres, they are prepared for foliar feeding, for which ambient air humidity is measured and sprouts are maintained for 5 hours at ambient air humidity of 70–85%, then plant leaves are sprayed with preparations, wherein in the control version of the test sowing, the preparation for foliar top dressing is not added, after the preparations are added, the sprouts are again maintained for 5 hours at an ambient air humidity of 70–85%, with further growth of plants, soil moisture is provided at level of 60%, upon reaching the length of the green part of 12 centimetres in at least 10 plants from all plants participating in the experiment in each version of the samples, sprouts are separated from the root system, sprouts are weighed from each vegetation container and compared with the control version without adding the preparation for foliar top dressing by calculating the ratio of the weight of the cut sprouts of the tested versions to the weight of the cut sprouts of the control version of sowing on the soil, based on this comparison, the most productive version corresponding to the greater value of green mass is selected from all versions of test seeding, which makes it possible to select and prescribe a specific preparation for foliar top dressing when cultivating a specific crop on a specific field already directly in production conditions.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of estimation of efficiency of preparations for foliar dressing and to obtain the possibility of forecasting potential development of a specific variety of a crop on a specific soil.
