SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-density litters for pet toilets containing dried particles of compacted material containing expanded perlite. Dried particles additionally contain a binder containing starch. Density of the dried particles ranges from approximately 25.0 pounds/cubic foot (400 kg/m3) to approximately 45.0 pounds/cubic feet (721 kg/m3), and the dried particles do not contain clay.
EFFECT: obtaining litters for pet toilets, which have low density, but do not deteriorate integrity or absorbability of particles, as well as are well accepted by pets.
