FIELD: filler for pets litter.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition of litter for pets to eliminate unpleasant odors and a method of weakening or eliminating the unpleasant odor while simultaneously distributing the aroma of the fragrance in the surrounding space using the said composition. Pets litter composition for eliminating the unpleasant odor of urine and feces of a pet includes a fragrance and a granular adsorbent for the source of the unpleasant odor. The granular adsorbent for the source of unpleasant odor is present in the composition in an amount of from 0.05 to 4.0 wt.%, has a pore size from 0.4 to 0.8 nm and a total surface area from 100 to 1,500 m2/g. The granular odor source adsorbent adsorbs 25 to 60% of the odor source — pet urine and feces — and eliminates at least 40% of the odorant. The granular adsorbent for the source of unpleasant odor contains molecular sieve granules.
EFFECT: weakening or eliminating the unpleasant odor while simultaneously distributing the aroma of the fragrance.
