METHOD OF PRODUCING LOW-ALKALINE MATERIAL BASED ON NATURAL HYDROXYAPATITE FROM BONE TISSUE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61K35/32 A61K6/00 A61L27/36

Abstract RU 2816361 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for producing a low-alkaline material consisting of natural hydroxyapatite. Method of producing low-alkaline material consisting of natural hydroxyapatite originating from bone tissue, characterized by pH values of aqueous extracts of not more than 7.9, including successive stages of preliminary cleaning of bone tissue from components of other tissues, deproteinization of bone tissue by boiling in solution of 1,2-diaminoethane or ammonia with subsequent washing, dry heat treatment in an uncontrolled atmosphere at a temperature which does not cause crystallisation of natural hydroxyapatite, which is in range of 250–500 °C, de-alkalisation of material obtained at previous steps by treatment with water, then treatment with aqueous ammonia solution to achieve pH value of 11.0–12.5, then treatment with an aqueous solution containing orthophosphoric acid in an amount of not less than 0.15 mmol per 1 g of the treated material and ammonia to pH 10–12, washing with water and drying.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables to quickly and efficiently obtain a low-alkaline material consisting of natural hydroxyapatite originating from bone tissue, already at application of short-term treatment in process of de-alkalisation for at least 1 minute, achieving maximum efficiency at treatment for at least 24 hours.
