FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: weapon system comprises gun barrel (20) mounted on turret (10) through gun carriage (30). Gun carriage (30) is configured to provide vertical guidance of gun barrel (20) relative to vertical laying axis (Z1). Structure (A) comprises suspension system (S) configured to provide torque preventing disruption of balance of gun barrel (20). Structure additionally contains adjusting device (50; 150) for automatic adjustment of the torque provided by the suspension system (S), based on gun barrel (20) balance disturbance, in order to dynamically counteract gun barrel (20) balance disturbance. Armament system with structure (A) is installed on tracked vehicle.
EFFECT: improved balancing of a gun barrel of a weapon system installed on a vehicle.
