FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to methods of forming a microneedle matrix from a production injection mould, which contains a flexible material for moulds. Production injection mould includes multiple cavities, which are shaped to define multiple corresponding microneedles, each of which has core, microneedle point, rounded base and at least one undercut element. Flexible material has sufficient elasticity to allow extraction of the moulded microneedle matrix from the production mould in one drawing without damaging the integrity of the microneedle mould defined by the mould, as well as with preservation of mould integrity during multiple applications. Microneedles can have many different geometrical designs and can include different soluble and insoluble layers, as well as different types of substrates.

EFFECT: disclosed method can be used for reproducible production of soluble microneedle matrices with a coating and with undercuts and rounded bases, as well as insoluble microneedle matrices with undercuts to be used as adhesive applicators on tissue.
