METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BIODEGRADABLE MICRONEEDLE SKIN PATCH FOR DELAYED HEMOSTIMULATION OF CANCER PATIENTS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61F2/00 A61M37/00 A61K9/00

Abstract RU 2804809 C1

FIELD: veterinary medicine; oncology.

SUBSTANCE: concerns a means for correcting hematopoiesis disorders caused by cytostatic effects. It can be used for hemostimulation simultaneously with a course of chemotherapy for cancer patients, as well as to reduce the duration of the period of neutropenia and its clinical consequences. The method involves making a microneedle silicone mold with a square base with an area of 100 cm and 100 cone-shaped wells 5 mm deep, arranged in rows; the cone-shaped wells are filled with a solution of hyaluronic acid mixed with filgrastim in a ratio of 1:2-1:10. Then the mold is degassed at a pressure of 40 mbar, followed by dehydration at a temperature of +3°C within 48 hours. A film of medical fluoroplastic-4 with a negative charge (electret) with a thickness of 20 microns and an area of 9 cm2, treated with a crown discharge with a voltage of 50 kV, is fixed on the surface of the patch using biocompatible glue, after which the patch is removed from the silicone mold.

EFFECT: possibility of active delayed targeted transfer of a therapeutic agent after application of a skin patch into the patient’s body tissue is achieved.
