DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR INSOLVENCY OF BILIODIGESTIVE, GASTRODUODENAL AND INTERINTESTINAL ANASTOMOSES OF UPPER SMALL INTESTINE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01N33/72

Abstract RU 2816658 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for diagnosing inconsistency of biliodigestive, gastroduodenal and interintestinal anastomoses of upper small intestine. Abdominal drainage is sampled. Bilirubin content in the drainage is determined. If the bilirubin content is 100 mcmol/l and more, an anastomotic leak is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides an opportunity to simplify and objectify the diagnosis of insolvency of biliodigestive, gastroduodenal and interintestinal anastomoses of the upper small intestine, timely perform repeated surgical interventions with this complication, which will increase the effectiveness of treatment, reduces length of staying in hospital, reduces economic costs for treatment of such patients due to determination of content of bilirubin in contents of abdominal drainage.
