METHOD FOR DETERMINING INDICATIONS FOR OPERATION OF PROGRAMMED SANATION RELAPAROTOMY IN PERITONITIS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C12Q1/04 G01N33/49 A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2699919 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for determining indications for operation of programmed sanation relaparotomy in peritonitis. A laparotomy is performed, an abdominal exudate is sown to the microflora immediately after the laparotomy, and the results of the abdominal exudate sowing are assessed after 24 hours. If observing two or more types of exciters in the exudate of the abdominal cavity, the readings are set to a programmed sanation relaparotomy and a sanation relaparotomy is performed 48 hours after the primary operation.

EFFECT: method provides improved treatment results in patients with peritonitis by increasing accuracy of indications for repeated operations in patients with peritonitis as a result of examination of exudate of abdominal cavity on microflora, performed immediately after the first operation, and well-timed with correctly selected volume of surgical intervention.
