SUBSTANCE: described is a method for the production of a solid product selected from a solid feed or food ingredient, or a solid food additive, involving production of a biomass substrate, including carbohydrates and a protein substance originating from soya bean seeds, rape seeds or mixtures thereof, wherein at least 20 wt.% of said biomass include carbohydrates and a protein substance originating from soya bean seeds, rape seeds or mixtures thereof, mixing said substrate with a living microorganism or a combination of living microorganisms selected from bacteria, wherein the living microorganism or combination of living microorganisms is not or does not include live yeast, and the addition of water in an amount which provides the initial mixture for incubation, having a water content of 30 to 70 wt.% and a wet bulk density to a dry bulk density ratio of 0.60 to 1.45, incubation of said initial mixture for incubation for 2–180 hours at temperature of 15–70 °C and extraction of end products, wherein the incubation step is performed as a continuous process in a uniform plug flow in a vertical reactor for incubation without mixing with appliances for inlet of said mixture and additives and appliances for outlet of said solid product, and movement of biomass is mediated by gravitational force.
EFFECT: invention enables to implement an efficient and fast method of bioconversion of biomass in order to produce bioproducts containing organic acids from cheap sources of carbohydrates on an industrial scale.
